Change is constant. But not in every phase and aspect of our lives. So when the elder son of a mango merchant tells him that he wishes to change his name to that of a different religion, all hell breaks lose. The son and father clash on ideologies where the son is adamant that changing his name won't affect the kind of person he is whereas the father tries and fails to understand this strange request. The result of this argument not only changes the lives of these two individuals and the family as a whole, it also sets the dice rolling for a huge revolution in the cinema culture as we know it today.
